I am an astronomer and I have worked at OVRO for over 35 years. I was first hired to help with VLBI observations and build receivers for the 40m telescope. Over the years I have worked on every project at OVRO and I currently help with the LWA, DSA and 40m telescope. I started doing outreach as soon as I arrived and I continue to do tours, astronomy articles for the local paper, star parties, organize the OVRO Fall Lecture Series and keep the OVRO brochure updated. I grew up on a farm in Iowa and fell in love with the Owens Valley as soon as I saw it. I enjoy woodworking, mountain running, coaching wrestling and I am trying to become fluent in Italian.
